Learn more about our business and bakes.

What ingredients do you use?

Everything here at Fat Daddy is made with simple, clean, high-quality ingredients you can feel good about. You’ll never find seed oils, preservatives, or artificial flavors in any of my products. Instead, you can find real like organic flour, grassfed butter, high-quality chocolate, and pink Himalayan salt. Even the eggs we use come from our farm or local farms we trust! Every item we bake, from cookies to loaves, is made with our 179-year-old sourdough starter, and all our dough is cold fermented for 24 hours to break down the gluten that makes wheat products difficult to digest for many people. We experiment and test our recipes thoroughly to ensure our bakes are always both delicious and nourishing, so you can enjoy every bite.

How long does your sourdough ferment?

Our sourdough is naturally leavened and goes through a long, slow fermentation process, typically 24 hours from start to finish. This extended ferment helps break down gluten and phytic acid, making it easier to digest and gentler on the gut. It’s one of the reasons Fat Daddy sourdough tastes (and feels) so good.

How does shipping baked goods work?

All of our bakes are packed and shipped carefully, to ensure the best product arrives at your door! First, we bake all our products on the same day we ship them out. We heat seal our bakes and pack them in biodegradable packing peanuts. Then we carefully pack your order in a branded Fat Daddy Bakeshop box, so you're greeted with our happy logo when its time to enjoy your treats.

Where do you ship?

We ship anywhere in the continental United States! We sadly cannot ship to Hawaii at our normal shipping rate; however, you can contact us for a quote and we'll do our best to get our goodies to you.

Is there anywhere I can shop in-person?

Yes! Our products are available in multiple small businesses across Brooksville, Florida, the hometown of Fat Daddy. You can find us any time in Central Florida Beef, Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza, and at Frazier Farms seasonally. You can follow us on Instagram to stay posted when Frazier Farms is in season and stocked with our bakes, or for real-time updates on any new locations carrying our products.

With love from our family to yours,

Tricia and the Fat Daddy Bakeshop team
